For the opening of the Fonds Labégorre in Seignosse (Landes), built around a major exhibition of Serge Labégorre’s paintings, the foundation and Dizart Éditions joined forces to produce a large-format monograph.
Born in 1932 near Bordeaux, Serge Labégorre is one of the major contemporary expressionist painters. His large full-length portraits hang in many museums, from Paris to Tokyo.
A collaboration with the painter
The book was conceived with Serge Labégorre himself and the head of the foundation. A hardcover volume with flaps, 152 pages, 130 works and a section of drawings. Limited to 600 copies, printed by an Italian fine-art printer.

Colour fidelity
Rigorous colour control and several trips between France and Italy ensured faithful colours and balanced light. The sketches were cleaned, vectorised and grouped by theme.
